The
Primary School Counselling
service emphasizes on two dimensions.
First is to establish a counselling networks and to cultivate
caring culture in schools, so that the schools will become a place
beneficial for students’ holistic development.
Secondly we need to promote the students' psycho-social development
in order to enhance their coping ability and Multiple Intelligence Quotient. With
these, we have the support from the following :
MULTI
-DISCIPLINARY SUPPORT

The
multi-disciplinary
support team consists
of principals, educational psychologist,
experienced teachers & social workers.
They support our social workers
and provide consultancy if needed.

Educational
Psychologists’ professional consultancy and assessment.

The
teachers of the multi-disciplinary
support team have special
education training and they fully understand characteristics
of students with special needs, as well as the challenges
faced by teachers in the mainstream schools.

The
experienced social
workers' team has expertise in various aspects,
they could meet the needs of different schools.
SCHOOL BASED AND TAILOR-MADE SERVICE

Meetings
are held with school personnels to assess the needs of the schools
before any program arranged.

Regular
reviews would be conducted with school personnels to ensure
continuous
improvement of programs provided.
QUALITY
SERVICE
-
Professional
supervisions are provided to support the service delivered by the
stationing social workers.
-
Periodic
review upon the 6th month of the commencement of the service,
alterations of the programs could be arranged for the
serving schools upon request.
